Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat, the first official Devil May Cry mobile game, has finally launched on iOS and Android. Players from around the globe can now go devil-hunting with Dante, Nero, Vergil, and other canonical DMC Hunters.

While Devil May Cry veterans will feel right at home, beginners must go through a learning curve.

With character & weapon progression systems, various game modes, and the coveted combat, there’s a lot to do. That’s why, to help beginners, we’ve come up with this Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat beginners tips and tricks guide.

Let’s jump right in!

Devil May Cry – Tips

1. Master Character Combos

Much like the main Devil May Cry games, character combos are available in DMC: Peak of Combat as well. They are watered-down versions but highly effective in combat.

Every combo you land deals massive damage and leaves your enemy fatigued. Think of it as stunned. They can’t attack you when fatigued. That’s when you bring out the finishing moves.

Right execution of character combos can help overpower and defeat your enemy in no time.

2. Jump & Dodge

The “jump” and “dodge” skills have no cooldown. Knowing this and executing these skills can be a lifesaver in Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat.

Use jump to avoid enemy attacks. Hit dodge just at the right time to avoid damage and counter-attack your enemy.

There are no shortcuts to mastering the “dodge” skill. The more you fight, the better you’ll get at avoiding and countering enemy attacks.

Pro Tip: Keep away from your enemies. Getting too close to your enemies in DMC: Peak of Combat can sometimes mean sudden and swift death.

3. Master & Upgrade The Weapons

Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat has an impressive range of weapons for both ranged and melee combat.

Every Hunter can equip FOUR weapons at a time. Depending on the type of build, you can equip any type of weapon you want. However, it’s best to have a versatile arsenal that suits every type of combat.

You can learn everything about the weapons in the “Gallery.”

Unlocking the weapons is not enough. You have to upgrade them as well. The base version weapons are not good enough once you get to Chapter Three.

4. Upgrade Your Hunters

Just as the weapons, you must upgrade the weapon wielders as well.

There are ELEVEN Hunters in Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat. Chances are that we’ll see more characters added to the game over time. All these characters have different skills and stats that can be improved via the Character Upgrade system.

You’ll need a lot of Orbs, Gems, and other in-game currencies to upgrade Weapons and Hunters. Check out these Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat codes to get some of these resources for free.

5. Rake In Your Daily Rewards

Last but not least is collecting your daily rewards that are almost free.
