Questopia: Conquer The World is a casual adventure RPG developed by Sozap available for both Android and IOS.

The game takes you to a massive world where you explore new continents and biomes. You can create your little world by gathering resources, fighting enemies, upgrading tools, and exploring new lands.

In this guide, we will talk about the gameplay and provide you with some tips and tricks to aid you in your adventure. Without further ado, let’s delve into our Questopia ultimate gameplay guide.

Basic Mechanics in Questopia

The game mechanics are kept very simple and player-friendly. You can swipe your finger in the direction you want to go. Stand over or next to the resources you’d like to collect, and your character will automatically start collecting the resource.

This saves the player the trouble of switching between tools and possibly trying to hit the wrong resource with the wrong tool. This serves the game’s “Casual” genre just right, making the whole thing a chill experience.

Tools

There are many tools you will obtain during your playthrough. The main ones you will use are listed:

  • Axe: Used for chopping down trees and collecting wood and planks from other resources.
  • Pickaxe: Used for mining stones, ores, pearls, and other minerals.
  • Sword: Used for fighting hornets, crabs, and many other enemies you will encounter in the game.

Upgrading Your Tools

Throughout Questopia, you will uncover some lands with pre-existing shops or stations on them. In certain places, you will find upgrade stations where you can upgrade a tool in exchange for certain resources.

For each tier of tool, you will collect the corresponding resource of that tool more with each hit and will be able to gather materials low-tier tools can’t collect.

Crafting

Crafting mechanic allows you to transform resources into other materials such as wood to planks, stones to iron, etc. Crafting stations can be built with special items found in the game; such as melting pot and chainsaw.

This is especially important for acquiring resources that are harder to find in the early game like planks. Instead of running around and looking for a plank source, you can throw in 3 woods to get 1 plank. This will drastically speed up your early game progression.

Combat

Combat in Questopia is as simple as it gets, just like it is when it comes to gathering. You find your first sword early in the game, and your character automatically starts swinging it every time you get near an enemy.

The enemies gradually get stronger as you progress in the game. However, you counter this by upgrading your sword the same way you upgrade your tools. It is also possible to find new weapons, so keep an eye out!

Swimming

Sometimes there will not be a tile-creating opportunity, and you might need to swim between two blocks of land. In these cases, be careful about how much time you spend in the water.

Oftentimes, you will be followed by a shark that will jump from the water and kill you instantly. Try to avoid this by using land tiles as much as possible and not spending time in the water more than you need to.

Raft

Your raft is crucial for your progression in Questopia. It allows you to navigate to new continents as you fully explore the previous one. Each continent is like a mission, or a quest, that you must complete in order to advance to the next one.

Each time you travel with your raft, you will need to upgrade it to use it again to move to a new land. The materials you will need to upgrade the raft vary. They are usually materials you will encounter during your exploration such as a map or a compass.

Resource Shops

On some lands, you will find shops with clerks that sell certain resources. You can purchase resources you need in exchange for gold. You can earn gold by slaying monsters or mining treasure chests.

Character and Resource Packs

You can purchase characters and resource packs from the in-game shop with real-world currency. The Resource Packs will provide you with much-needed materials and speed up your upgrading progression.

Purchasing Characters is another way to buy yourself some advantages in Questopia. Each character has different traits that boost different aspects of your gameplay. Some characters are better at combat, meaning they deal more damage or can tank better, or collect certain materials better.
